Here we see my reference image from the internet. It is from the movie "The Human Centipede". This image shows a horrific scene of three humans intermingled into a strange creature closely resembling a Centipede. This shows a weird disturbing side of horror of stuff that could actually happen to people if someone is crazy enough to try it.
My Image:
In my image we see a person trying to break though something. For my image I had the model push up against a sheet of latex and create strange faces. It created the same horror affect I wanted that being of some weird creature trying to break into this plan of existence. This apples more the the horror of ghosts and demons much like in the popular TV show super natural where demons appear to try and break though walls and other things to try and attack the humans.
The Connection:
The connection between the two images is that they both show the same type of horror of something trying to break though some form of solid surface to escape. Also both show a typical type of horror in which you have some form of demon or creature trying to attack the viewer. I think what works in both of them is the fact that you will have them right up against the screen when you are viewing them which makes it almost seem like they are trying to break out and attack you.
