Final Project Evaluation
Final Project Evaluation:
As a whole I think this unit has been very successful due to the types of photos I have got. They have been very good at creating a fearful atmosphere and also inspiring fear within the viewer of the image. The greatest aspect of this unit have been the image I have taken because they have been the most successful. I enjoyed revisiting horror and experimenting with different types of horror and all the ways in which I can portray horror in. Nothing really changed from my initial idea of horror because though out the subject I followed the same type and style of horror that is reflected in my research and oner areas in which I got inspiration from.
I think that the shoots that were the most successful were the ones in were I used the superimposing technique to incorporate a figure from lots of different photos into one. I especially think that the shoot of the broken and crumbling chapel worked very well in getting the element of horror across to the viewer and creating the required atmosphere to get the viewer to feel fear.
The points in this project I disliked were the parts where I had to do all the different types of techniques. This is because I found them to be boring because I found that they didn't really relate to any of the subjects I liked in anyway shape or form. They also took up a lot of time I would have rather spent actually doing the personal project aspect of unit 3. Another issue with this project was that even excluding the techniques the personal project in itself took lots of time to complete which caused me some stress but due to all the time I have put into this project I believe that it will be successful.
