| Here we see a prime example of what most people view to be horror. A depiction of a demon like creature with shark like teeth, goblin ears, blotched up skin and a menacing face. The general connotations of a demon are that they possess people and serve "The Devil". Most of this connotation stem from the christian faith but demons and devils can be found in nearly every religion. One of my preferred depictions of demons can be found in many Shinto artwork done by members of that religion. |
