Technique Page - Sequencing

Sequencing is when you have a group of images that show a sequence of events that happens throughout the photos.

First you need to decide on a sequence in which you want to capture. Next set up the camera so it can view the entire sequence. Take a photo of the first part of every movement and continue taking photos of the desired movements. When in photoshop make each photo 5cm in length and open a new page of 5.5cm times the number of photos you have for the sequence. Drag the photos into their appropriate place in the new page and crop so there is an equal frame around them all.

The aim is to get a row of images that show an initial movement which end in a final one with the stages of movement in-between.

The image I have above is of a sequence of events in which I directed. It started with them standing up, then going into jumping jacks along the rom of people with having the last person doing the jump the first person collapses to the floor and then that movement continues on till the end.
